Bass reduction on stock HU

Bass reduction on stock HU
1999 F150 x-cab 4x4 Off Road Pkg.
Does anyone know how to bypass the high volume bass reduction with an amp on the stock HU. I havn't decided how I will be hooking the amp up yet so i'm open to all ideas. I'm looking at an Alpine 4-chan V12 as I was told it is a good match for the stock HU.
Proposed System (solid on all but amp)
Stock HU w/changer
Alpine 4-chan V12 (?)
JL 5x7 (front)
Stock 5x7 (rear, powered by HU)
2 JL 8w3 in JL Stealth box

I have the JL 5x7s. Get the XR series if money allows. I had the TR series(nice sounding speaker) loaned to me by the local shop until the XRs came in. The XRs sound incredible!
