looking at amps, came across a USAcousics amp. If any body has heard of them or used them, please let me know how they operate?

USAcoustics are decent amps for the money. I have a friend that owns a shop called Sounds Unlimited that uses a variation of them. (Same amp, different name). He has 18 15"DVC Hurricane subs and 18 amps, pushing a total of almost 18,000 watts in a Dodge Caravan. He is locally well recognized, and does very well at a lot of SPL comps. I have used the USAcoustic amps in a few installs. The only problem I had was with their HUGE bass amps. Kept blowing the little 15amp fuses. (it uses 4). Called the company, and they told me to upgrade to 20amp. No problems since then. They have quite a few models from a 100w ch to a 600w 2ch and 200w and 280w 4chs. You can find them at www.crutchfield.com.

I bought one on sale a year ago from Crutchfield. The price was great. No problems with the amp - it was just what I was looking for - moderate power at a low price.
