Did i mess something up?!?

Okay...I just put in Infinity Kappas in all 4 doors powered by a Hifonics ZXI4410 4-channel amp (I also have a mono amp)...I bought 3 RCAs; 1 for front pre-outs, 1 for rear pre-outs, and 1 for sub pre-out...but when I yanked the HU out it only has 3 pre-outs, 1 for front, 1 for rear/sub, and 1 for AV...so I put channel 1&2 to front pre-out, the mono to rear/sub pre-out, and I just put channel 3&4 to the AV pre-out...so when I had the amp on 4-channel it only played the fronts, and when I switched it to 2-channel it plays fronts and rears...so how is the wattage distributed with this setup? And is there a way to have it play on 4-channel? And do I need to un-hook the AV pre-out? AND the system is not as loud as my factory setup...I have to put the HU on 30 to hear what I heard at 25 from the factory setup. What is going on??? Help Please!!!!

av pre out ,, unhook that from amp. that is audio video like for an ipod or monitor, not an amp. what u need to do is get 2 y adaptors split the front pre out at the amp for the front and rear speakers, have the subs independant on there own rca, or run the amp 4 channel use the y adaptors so u have signal to both sides of amp, put the rear door speakers off the hu, bridge front speakers across the amp to make up for the signal loss by using the y adapter, subs will be fine. or get a better hu

Preciate it JJDH...I just went and bought a pair of Y cables...now it plays on 4-channel, plus I had the gain way too low...I read that my HU puts out 2 volts so I put the gain on 2 volts and it plays fantastic now. Just can't wait to get that box in!!!!!
