I would love to know how to hook one up. I have one just sitting here.

Does it go in the dash behin the HU? You have to hook up speaker wires to it. Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front, Right Rear.

Struggling here guys....any insight?

I had one hooked up it was awesome, then i had problems with my sub and amp gains, so they updated witha touch screen JVC, i dunno there nice, but if you have a nice setup and want more control id just get a real deck put in. I kinda watsed my money on the re Q, since a week later i took it back, and they put in a new deck.

Just cut the spk wires from the deck and insert spk wires as appropriate. http://www.reqsound.com/manual/re-Q5_Install_sheet.pdf

It has line outputs for sub and L and R.

Can i run an RCA to the amp for my front components and an RCA to the amp for my sub?

Will this be a decent improvement over stock until I can get a new HU?

I've been using the RE-Q on customer's vehicles for a couple years now. The first initial ones had a strange ground looping problem but that was fixed after awhile. Every first product has it's faults. I do a lot of dealer vehicles that want to keep the factory radio but amplify and upgrade the speakers. The RE-Q does the job.

They have a newer unit called the RE-Q5.
