What amp is right for me?

I just purchased a 10" Boston Acoustics G110-44 DVC 4-ohm and plan on putting it in the single sub box from supercrewsound. Im new to all this and dont really know what kind of amp I should buy. I dont plan on amping my speakers just need a single amp for the sub. I dont want to spend too much money but I dont want it to sound like crap. Any ideas??

JL Audio G1300.

or

If you could find a used JL e1200 that would be perfect for that sub. I have one that powered an alpine RD 10" sub and it sounded great.

Rockford Fosgate!!! They have shallow amps great for trucks. Look at the RMS and go off of it for the amp that matches it. Ebay has great prices on amps. You only need a one channel but if you want new front and rear speakers than you need another amp on top of the one you buy but if all you want is one for the sub a one channel will do just fine.

I agree with jjdh. A class d mono amp would be best. You could run that d4 sub with both coils combined for a 2 ohm load. There is a fair share of class d amps rated for max 2 ohm. Some are rated for 1 ohm. You wont need that.

if u look online, jl amps now are not that much more than alpine, kenwood, or any other low price decent amp, the decent amps are no longer low price, so for a little more get the street guy high quality amp, which is jl. with their filters and built in crossovers, any speaker can sound good. now if u want super hjigh end, zapco, zuki, mcintosh, now those are expensive. if u buy a hundred dollar amp, that is what ull get, 100 dollar sound
