quick question
quick question
i have a 4ch amp on the back wall with a 4 gauge power wire. If I added a mono amp, would i need a distribution block or could i just run another 4 gauge power wire to the battery for the new amp? What would be better or does it really matter. Thanks
Your going to need to run a larger fused power wire (0/1 gauge) to a distro block then split there to your current 4 channel and mono amps. Always better to have to large a power cable than not large enough. Check http://www.knukonceptz.com/

okay well one of the amps is a Kenwood KAC-8104D 500wRMS and then a Powerbass 4-ch. amp (400.4) to my door speakers (already installed). If I could just add another 4-gauge wire from the battery like red4x4 said I will.
Low, what way would you recommend?

Might as well run 0awg if he wants to run one wire off of the battery considering the price of 0awg and 2awg is relatively close.
