Alright im thinking of getting one 10" Fi Audio Q with BP Power... I was thinking about running a sundown SAE 1200D amp... Is it any good?

 

Don't waste your time with Fi.... who is that anyways? show some dignity for yourself and go with a jl w7

lol JL has great SQ too if set up right as would an FI, your makin a good choice with the sundown amp

Not everyone has 450 bucks to throw down on a single woofer though.

Look at it this way....250 bucks for a JL W3, or 250 bucks for a Fi Q that can do probably 90 percent of what a W7 can do, and walk all over a W3 performance wise. I know which one I would be getting, and it sure isnt the JL. Im not even a real big fan of Fi either.....

Yes, JL has years of R&D and thousands upon thousands of dollars to put into making great products, but its not always about the badge on the product

Not knocking JL at all, they make a fine product.

Go check out the 12" woofer challenge at realmofexcursion.com forums. They compared a bunch of popular subwoofers and both the Fi BTL and Fi Q shat on the W7. Keep in mind the Fi Q costs half of what a W7 costs.
