Quick fuse question...

So I melted a 100 amp fuse in my truck (Alpine 1000). The nearest shop that has them is a good 35 minutes away and I won't be able to get down that way until the middle of next week. I have a bunch of Stinger 60 amp fuses laying around, can I add a second fuse holder and run two 60A fuses until my 0ga gets here next week? Or is there something else I can use? Thanks for the help.

i dont think it really works like that...cause if your amplifier is pulling more than 60 amps, one of those fuses will blow. and if one blows, it cuts off the circuit.
i would just put in the 60A and turn the bass way down.

dont know if this would work, but does someone know if stacking two 50A fuses in the same fuseholder would create a 100A?

yes if its ran in paralell not series and 2 60's like that would be 120amps
