Capacitor Not Turning On?!

Im running two 1 farad Monster Caps to a 1500.1 Kicker amp.....my system has been working fine up until a week ago then one day it just went out. I was messing with stuff yesterday and it seem like the caps are not getting power from the remote turn on wire? If i bridge the power and the amp turn on connections it works....how could i fix that?

first, unhook the rem wire from the caps (what low said)
if that doesnt work, then throw the caps away (what styx said)

then do the big three, save up some money and buy a good battery.

The above statements in your case OP, are unfortunate but true.

Again, theres nothing wrong with the caps (outside of the RETARDED FLASHING LIGHTS!) if its for the correct purpose, cleaning the ripple out of the DC line.

I'd love to see the OP make a reply here. I never ever seen a cap with a remote wire. Low you know nobody uses a cap for DC filtering. Shoot maybe I'll take that old cap I got for ships and giggles and put it on my CB to filter out that buzz.

Its an older Monster Digital Cap....the REM wire turns on the volt meter

I already have an Optima Yellow Top

my guess is the cap itself is working, but the voltmeter crapped out on you, or you lost a connection with the REM wire.
