its unsafe for you or any passenger in the vehicle.. flooded auto batteries need to be installed in a propper sealed box and vented to the exterior if its installed inside the vehicle. I'n the case of an accident you have a very dangerous situation on your hand...

1. that battery is unsecured and will become a flying target in a collision, how would you like that hitting your head?
2. your connections have exposed wires/terminals and looks very shoddy, its too easy to drop something and create a spark
3. car interiors get extremely hot and will heat up batteries to a point where the batteries expel sulfur trioxide, which is a very harmful ODORLESS gas.
4. ther is no fuse between your second battery and your firewall in the event that the power wire is severed you will still ground out the positive terminal from the second battery and risk a fire
5. also being unsecured and filled with acid the last thing you want is sulfuric acid spiled on you or anything(anyone) inside your vehicle

a good "sealed" AGM batteries like Optimas and Exide Orbitals still have vents and will vent if they are overcharged... which does happen. they will still need to be fused, vented, secured, and have covered terminals to be considered safe.

now that you know why and how its unsafe there is absolutely NO reason why you should continue to drive around with a flooded battery installed improperly, fully exposed, unsecured, unvented, and unfused inside your vehicle.

Yeah, TRUE I should've, but I was really sensitive about how much I would've been spending and I wasn't sure what to buy. Only being a senior and having afterschool classes it was really hard to find a job. So far I have bought battery terminals, ready to be installed today, and still need to buy more... Also Im not done i need to buy 4 1/2 inchs of pipe to extend the ports.... So far the system still sounds good since my subs are CRACKED, but many thinks its BRAND NEW lol....

Also..

IM still wondering WHERE can i mount my battery???

I want to fabricate a box myself and actually mount it somewhere under the truck. OR buy those marine box and put holes in it for the + and - and for the vents i will put a sort of hose or pipe that will exit out the vents.. Ill post pics of what I will be thinking of.. but please.. comments first.. and Thanks again for motivations....

Oh and a 200A relay would really help. It will act as a bat isolator, this will allow for the truck to start and the batts not discharge the other.
