What is that foil-paper looking stuff some people put along the back wall? And what is it's purpose?

A battery inside the cab = big no no.

I would just use the stock battery unless you plan to put in 3 amps or 2 really big amps that draw tons of current. If you do decide to install a big system, just replace the main battery with something beastly. Dont bother with caps unless your system is designed for 1 hit wonder SPL numbers.

kinetik are designed to go anywhere, they can be in the cab. Where should I install my Kinetik Power Cell(s)?
Kinetik Power Cells can be mounted anywhere in your vehicle since they are sealed, non-hazardous and do not leak. We recommend replacing your factory wet cell battery with a similar Kinetik Power Cell and placing additional Kinetik Power Cells as needed near your amplifiers for best performance. For example: If your factory electrical system requires 1800 watts and you have 2000 watts of aftermarket equipment in your vehicles trunk, the best case scenario for this install would be to replace your factory wet cell battery with a Kinetik HC1800 or higher and install a Kinetik HC2000 or higher in your vehicles trunk with the aftermarket equipment.

Yep sure can. There is a metal piece on the backside of the seat you will have to cut out for your amp..

Novsun88,
Do you know if this also applies to 2000 models and is your amp screwed to the back wall? If so how many inches were the nails?

I would assume since the BACK of the seats are the same through 2003 that you would be good on a 2000. No screws I wasn't sure if I had enough room to drill. I used the 3M Automotive molding tape and ran it the length of the amp on both sides. I did it about a year ago and its still holding up great... In fact cant get it off the back of the wall.. It's held on really well.

3M Tape I used:
