why does my battery keep going dead after amp dies?

why does my battery keep going dead after amp dies?

my amp wont even turn on then i unhooked it from the battery and now my battery is fine prior my truck wouldnt start til i jumped it i have a 1000 watt amp

Uhh, hows it wired. What amp? What conditions were present outside? etc..

its wired to battery it have 2 fuses and its an 0ga wire

sounds like the remote wire your amp must be always running

yeah X2 like I said I would think your amp is always sensing the remote turn on in hot from your HU since your amp is drawing from your Batt its draining it out just sitting Idle check your wires you may have it hook to a always hot line like for the memory or power antenna and not the amp remote lead
