Where and how did you mount your amp in a NBS?

Where and how did you mount your amp in a NBS F150? I have a King Ranch so with all the wires and electronics under the seats doesnt look like a option. I am guessing rear wall, how well does it fit with seats reinstalled, where did you mount and what did you use to mount?

After it was all done:

Everything easily fits. I used 3/4 MDF boards, mounted them with self tapping screws into pre-driller holes, then mounted the amps/crossovers to them. Very simple, and out of harm's way.

are the predriller holes on the mdf board or the truck? Do the screws stick out on the outside of the truck?

You do NOT want screws poking thru the cab, the back wall has "ribs" that you drill and tap into being carefull that your screws are just the right length to secure the board but not go thru the rib and poke out of the cab.

and ALEX
did you remove the rear center seat belt? i would like to see pics of it with the seat back on if you did, and i thought it was illegal to remove a factory belt?

Right, the rear wall has portions where a layer of the sheetmetal is raised about 1" off the back layer of sheetmetal. So if you drill in those areas you'll be fine, you wont poke through the 2nd layer as long as your screws aren't ridiculously long. If you look at my pictures, where the silver screws are is where i drilled and it has these raised areas.

yeah i forgot to mention that you need to get just long enough screws for it not to go all the way threw i cant remember the size i used but i know they didnt go threw cause when i finished i crawled under the truck and peaked haha. and yes i did remove the factory seat belt im not sure if its ilegal i just got my inspection done on sat and they didnt say anything they only gave me cr@p on my tint so i peeled it off then just went and got it retinted after that. ill try to get a pic of my seat back on but it looks just like any other seat just without the seat belt in the middle.

yea i meant manily where the upper area of the belt mounts, with that little plastic cover, just curious to see how it looks with that little hump there and no cover.
