programmer, cai, and exhaust? Never heard anyone call them the big 3 but they are the cheapest and most useful (for the money)

The Big 3 Are:
1. negative battery wire to ground - just replace the negative batt. terminal and wire and ground it to the factory location
2. engine block to ground - replace the ground wire from the engine block to the chasie with a bigger wire (maybe 4 guage)
3. alternator to batt - add a fused wire from the postive post on you alternator (the one comming from the battery) to the postive terminal on your battery. DO NOT exchange wires just add a extra one. make sure it fused the same size as your factory fuse.
hope thats helps

Note on #2- Some cars have a batt-engine block connection stead of chassis to engine block...

#3. Most people I have seen that did the Big 3, just swapped the cable for a larger guage wire, no fuse. Adding a cable would be pretty similar, its draws more current to the same location.

Bolded the parts i see wrong with your post, otherwise it looks good.

Do 1/0 awg wire, you'll always want to upgrade your stereo, go with the biggest wire possible. All 3 of the upgrade wires should be the same size.

About the fuse...fuse size should be based on the capacity the wire can carry, NOT the same as factory no no no. Example: my Knu 1/0 wire is rated for 250A, so i have a 250A fuse on it. Simple enough, eh?

It SHOULD NOT necessarily be rated for what the wire can carry. But for the lesser; either what the wire can carry or what the maximum that can be produced.

Right, but it should certainly not be higher than the wire's capacity, and certainly not the same as stock.

Thats why I said for the lesser. If the wire can carry less current then fuse it for that. (IDK why you would do it then... But still) Or if the wire can carry more than the power produced then fuse for the power produced.

and to coobies, you dont even need to replace the wire just add to it b/c electrical current takes the path of least resistance anyways....

Im really getting sick of websites like CA.com. Get a bunch of n00bs that "KNOW IT ALL AND THEN SOME" but dont know chit. Then they believe they are correct and will tell off ppl that actually know what they are talking about...

You know King Ranch is one of the most looked up to people on there now??!?!? Its another sad day in that hell.
