best ground?

best ground?

what would be the best place to ground my amp on a 95 f150 ext. cab? i have it grounded where the seat belt is bolted down right now...

yeah seat belt bolt is fine...just make sure the paint is scraped underneath where you ground strap touches....paint is not a very conductive material

paint isnt a metal at all haha just messin with ya, i think its scraped off not sure though...

Seatbelt bolt = half assed. Try grounding to chassis.

haha circuit city installed it the first time, what should i use to ground it to the chassis?

i honestly doubt if he notices any difference...i wouldnt worry with changing it unless your getting noise in your system or experiencing any kind of power issues with the amp cutting off, etc... sure its always best or ideal to go with a direct chassis ground like the bolts that bolt the cab to the chassis, but make sure they arent rusty, that can end up causing more problems in the end and older vehicles tend to have the rusty frames and hardware...

Doesnt surprise me. Im prolly the only bigbox installer that doesnt halfass everything...

If I stay around long enough to make district, Ill educate. But until CCity decides they want to pay my gas to clean up a few of them, FUUCK THAT!!!!!!!
