Amp help

Ok heres the deal, i have 2 amps hooked up in my truck. Just recently installed the amp for the highs. I have the kicker 750 mono hooked up for my subs then i put in a 4 channel sony for my highs, my problem is when i turn up the volume to a comfortable sound level after a few minutes of playing the amp for the highs shuts down. What would be making it do this? I've used this amp plenty of times before and its never shut down on me and i cant figure out why its doing this. I have the level at about a quarter of the way turned up on the amp, if i have it any lower you really cant hear much from the speakers. I have it hooked up to 4 high speakers as well. If you could tell me what is making it shut down i would appreciate it.
Thanks

You could be overheating it or there could be a ground issue. Are you running 2 Ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp? Do you have the gain on the amp turned up all the way? Are you splitting the power wire and possibly running too small a gauge? Though if that were the case I'd expect the bass to cut out first.

Lot's of possibilities boss.

You might as well have said my truck is broke. Why? Flat, engine, transmission, AC, etc...

We need products, ground locations, power wire size, how wired, etc...
