i have the Rockford punch 3 shallow mount subs each sub can take 300 rms and 600 max peak. well i have them broke in now and looking to get a amp to seriously push them i am stuck between the apline and rockford. the alpine is a mono 1000watts at 2ohms and 600 at 4ohms and the fockford is a
200W x 2 @ 4-Ohms RMS
300W x 2 @ 2-Ohms RMS
600W x 1 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS
i was wanting a mono but the rockford sounds good. just not sure which one to get. both about the same price. anyone have any insight about it. or a better amp for the job. thanks.

 

If you can find a Alpine MRP-M850 that would suit you a bit better that the 1000. But both are good amps. Just grab the one you would rather.
