Supercrew Stereo Finally Done!
I finished my Stereo today in a marathon session. Avic-D3. Orion 225 HCCA 2 10' DVC Audiobahn Subs All Parallel running the amp @ 1 ohm load. Infinity Kappa Seperates up front and Infiniti Reference coaxials in rear doors. After some frustration trying to get the 4 Gauge Line to the back of the cab, i finally drilled a hole in the rear wall, ran it down the outside passenger side of the truck. This was much easier and I recommend it (Just stay away from the exhaust system. The System sounds great and the subs pound. I bought my truck like 9 months ago and I'm glad the system is finally done. Oh btw. I added a 6.5 inch monitor and homelink to the overhead console for good measure. I only took a picture of the amp though cause the head and sub box are the same as everyone elses. Anyways here is the amp install.

So the 4ga. power went out the rear wall, down the passenger side and where did it come back in to hit the battery??
I should have all my stuff tomorrow and I want to tackle the install friday. I looked under the hood today and have absolutely no clue where I'm going to penetrate the firewall

No, I don't want to trade. Yes I used a grommet and a fuse by the Battery. I had a real hard time trying to use the grommet behind the battery. The wire comes up right behind the battery on the passenger side. (I used a fish tape). (Mine is a 2007) The system sounds awesome. I have built about 15 systems and this is definately in the top 2. The f-150 is an awesome platform because it is so quiet to start off with.

Make sure you exit close to the passenger side. If you don't, you will be too near the exhaust pipe. I drilled it just above the left vent on the downward slanted ridge and it was just right.
On the drivers side there is a rubber grommet that has nothing going through it, just cut a little slit it that and the wire goes right in there. I had my wire in my cab in about 5 minutes. Just look for it, like coobies5 said it is just above the pedals on the inside of the cab. I will try to get a picture tomorrow of the grommet.
