What is the better option?
I decided to get some more power and add 2 10" subs to the system I plan to install in the 08 SuperCrew.
I have:
Pioneer AVIC-D3
2 Kicker CVT 10" 4ohm subs
6.5" Kicker component speakers
Kicker ZX200.4 (4 channel amp 50x4 @ 2ohms)
I'm going to order the SuperCrewSound 2 10" sub box.
I was thinking to keep the 4 channel amp and get a Kicker ZX400.1 mono amp (400x1 @ 2 ohms) to power the 2 Kicker subs.
Or
Get the Kicker ZX550.3 (3 hannel amp 85x2 @ 2 ohms & 420x1 @ ohms)
Which would you do and why?
I like the 3 channel as it looks to be more power and simple to install with no blocks for power/ground or mounting 2 amps. It is just alittle bit more to get then the 1 channel amp.
Will the extra power for the components be good and noticeable?
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.
Would it really be worth it to amp the rear speakers? I was planning on running them off the headunit and just swapping them out for some 2ways later on.
Also do you think the 400w from the mono amp will be enough for the 2 Kicker 10" subs? And will 35w make that much of a difference for the front components.
I think I'm over thinking this system but don't want to regret anything after it is all said and done.
Thanks again

Ill prolly catch slack from the others for saying this but I do (based on my listening habits. DVDs, and ppl in the back.)
It depends on if you want to or not. But otherwise, the 550/3 will work. (700/5 is on clearance @ CCity for about 300. 2006 model)
