Full Memphis system...including pics!!

Well, I finally got everything installed. The weather cooperated just long enough to get my box built and put in. Heres a rundown of everything I got in so far.

Pioneer AVIC-D1
Memphis Belle (75X4 mids and highs, 1100W subs)
Memphis 12" MOJO in 1.5ft3 sealed box
Memphis PR component set up front, stockers in back (for now)

Now for the pics...

This is the back wall with a layer of edead.

1/2 MDF amp board painted and routered with a roundover bit.

Memphis Belle and crossovers mounted

Wired up and ready to go. Distro blocks down on the bottom.

Heres the sub and box. Cheap, quick box sealed at 1.5ft3. I inverted it just so you could see the basket.

I cant tell you how it sounds right at the moment because I have to buy a bridging module for the amp. Dont ask me why but Memphis requires it for the Belle. I'll pick one of those up tomorrow and get back to yall on how it sounds. Stay tuned and enjoy!!

yup. sucked. couldnt put my seat back, the air noise from the port was horrible, it shook my truck way too much, and people in the backseat complained a lot. it just sounded like pooh too. LOL. hooked it up in my friends suburban and it sounds better in there, definitly not good in a truck.

I was looking into doing a ported box, but I guess I will stay with a sealed one after that comment

ported can sound great if done right. Mine was NOT done right. But, it will take a lot more work and perfection than doing a sealed box, especially in our trucks.

Just out of curiousity...who is Tim? I dont know Tim, but Brad has some pics of the PR comps.

Hope these help.

As for the sound...I'm only getting half the output off the amp right now. Because it has a mono input, the signal has to be merged or it only gets half the signal voltage....therefore half the output. Good news...Memphis bridging module on the way right now. I will get back to yall when that addition comes in. Doesnt sound too bad right now though.
