JL Audio 250 Mono Amp Question

On this amp I noticed there are 4 speaker wire locations.
++ on left and -- on right

I am connecting to a single 10" JL Stealth Box

Does it matter which + and - I use? Will on way bridge and one way not?

No, The JL amps use separate terminals for ease of wiring. The positives although separate are the same thing in the back. Still both positives are the 1 channel. GOOD CHOICE ON AMPS.

There is no such thing as bridging on a 1 channel.

thanks, so they just give you the option of powering 1 or 2 subs right? Either way you are sending the full amount of power? Sorry for all the questions, I'm learning as I go.

Yeah, they put two speaker outs on the mono amps so you could bridge 2 subs at the amp and not just on the subs. If that makes sense. Like Low_E said, for ease of wiring.

Looks to be a good setup,

parallel at the amps not bridge. That is different.

Bridge = Using the hot rails from multiple channels to increase power capacity.

Mono = 1 channel, does not have multiple hot rails, therefore can not be bridged

Parallel = Wiring common terminals together in order to lower resistance

Series = Wiring in a "daisy chain" one to the next to the next. + > - > + > -. This will increase resistance.
