2000W Legacy 4 Channel Amp

A friend of mine gave me a 2000 Watt 4 Channel amp. I am installing Alpine Type R components up front and Type R 5x7s in the rear door. I don't know much about this amp or if it is too much power for them. He bridged the amp to drive 2 12" subs. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

my only advice.. get rid of the amp. not a big fan of legacy amps. WAY over rated power wise.
