Problem with amp not working?

I have a kenwood 350w KAC-6295. I just hooked it up to my factory head unit in my 2006 F150 xlt via a LOC, and it will not turn on. I have checked all of the power connections and the ground connections and they are all secure, i also checked the fuse in the amp and in the power cable and they are good. Any suggestions?

What are you using for the remote turnon power?

Lets just run through everything to be safe...

Where is your +12v source
Where is your ground hooked up
Where os your remote wire hooked to

Did you check both sets of fuses? (power wire and on the amp)

Like asked above, does the amp light up at all, go into protection or thermal?

Give us some input and we can rule out everything for you.

i FOR SURE have power running to the amp. 12v is to battery i checked and yes i have power all the way to the amp. Ground is to jack support onto chasis. remote turn on is through radio fuse in fuse box which also has power all the way to the amp. the little red light that is suppose to light up on the amp does not light up at all. i just replaced the fuses in the 12v power cable and the fuse in the amp

Im assuming that if you have power all the way to the amp, that you have a DMM.

If so, test the fuses for continuity to rule them out.

Redo your ground. Ground to the main chassis not the jack or seatbelt bolts. Those are known to be intermittent grounds.

DMM time! only way to be sure is to test the leads on the amp

could also be a pinched remote turn on wire

Low-e-Red stated it above. A DMM is a digital multi meter. Is that what you used to confirm that you have power all the way to the amp?

yes i'm not sure exactly what its called but it looks like a screwdriver and one end you clip to the chasis and the other you touch to the wire and a light comes on

Redo the ground, that is it I'm pretty sure. I had the same problem and have it wired just like you. I had the ground at the jack mount bolts, and the amp had power but wouldn't turn on just liek your situation.
