Installing amp

I am installing a Kicker 4x60 amp on a factory 6 disc/mp3 HU in an 07 screw. I have an SLC-4 line to RCA converter switch from crutchfield but I think i am missing somthing. I do not wish to cut any wires to the HU can anyone tell me what I need to install this amp. I have already swapped the factory speakers to aftermarket. This is the link for the converter.http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...42SLC4&tp=2001

The only way that i can think of doing in with out cuttin up your factory harness is to use t taps..but the only issue with that is that it will keep your factory wires to each speaker loction alive, so you would want to make sure there is no way for those ends to ground out. I amassuming that you have cut the connectors or the stock speakers off? If so you might want to put some shrink wrap and tape them up and out of the way...

run new wires from the amp to each speaker... and tap or splice into your harness for your LOC

Buy a harness and reverse harness for your truck. Therefore you can wire up as needed and not cut a wire.
