ohm ratings

Hey guys,

Fast question

I have a PDX 4 channal alpine amp. Rated at 2/4 ohms and the Boston Pro60 speakers. The speakers are rated at 3 ohms. Will this work ok??????

yes they will push then at 3 ohms, just make sure your getting the right amount of power.

My subwoofer right now is currently wired to a single 3 ohm load, and my amplifier is rated at 900 RMS @ 2 ohm and 600 @ 4 ohm. My subwoofer is rated at 800 RMS @ 3 ohm, and my amp is probably dishing 700-750 @ 3 ohm, which is just about perfect.
