Need Some Help with amp installs and the back seat

Hey guys, I just got a 05 Excab FX4, I mounted two JLs 300/4 and a 500/1 side by side on a 1/4 sheet of wood. And the seat back is a couple of inches away for latching does anyone have any ideas. I did a search and saw some S brackets someone had made. I just looking for any other ideas.

I believe that was also done with the LMI seat lift installed which moves the seat forward about 2" as well as up.

Are you sure you are putting it on right? Cause mine fit no problems.

LMI - not really needing to move the seat up for 200 bucks, and It goes on only one way i hope. I think I'm going to get some hose clamps and run them thought the back wall and to hook on to the seat and tighten them down. That's the best idea I can come up with.

Tell me if Im wrong guys... But dont you need to mount the amps "low" on the back wall if mounting behind the seat?

That may be the problem depending on how high or low on the back wall your amps are mounted.

Yeah, let us know. It seems to me from others installs that they need to be lower on the wall.

Im still trying to put both amps and a sub under the back seat because of this.

Good luck,

Sorry no pics battery was dead in the camera. It made some difference when I moved them lower but not much. I could not get the bottom to catch, going to try a thinner board. Did the hose clamp on the top for now, starting to rain again. I’ll work on it later. The 4runner and the jet ski are parked in the garage. Who would have thought that my corvette was easier to work on than this truck.

How thick of a board did you use?
