Hey guys,

I took the jack and the jack mount out of my truck so I could put my sub there and I used the bolt from the jack mount for my ground. Is that ok? It seemed to be the frame of the truck because you could see the ground through the hole lol. Could this ground give my amp a bad ground?

I would think that to be a decent ground.
BTW, where is everybody putting their jack after mounting the amp(s) and/or subwoofer behind the seat?

I guess if you get a flat, you could just wait for help at the side of the road and listen to kick a$$ tunes!

 

Mines just in my bed for now, no idea what I'm gonna do with it.

 

Worked mine over last weekend. I grounded my AC/DC converter to one of them and my amp to the other. both work fine.

 

my amp is grounded to the old jack mount bolt. works fine.

 

Actually that isnt as good of a ground as putting your own screw, stripping the paint, and putting on a star washer.
