Amp Questions???

One of my friends is going to get a system soon and he is wondering if he can get a mono amp for 2 subs. If it says 400 watts x 1 channel if he bridges them in the middle is going to push 400 watts to each or is it going to push 200 watts to each?? please let me know because he wants to get a system soon

A mono amp cannot be bridged.

He would wire his two woofers in parallel or in series depending on the impedance (ohms) of the subs and the impedance that the amp is optimized for.
