Fuse question

Ok, got a Stinger SHDA1 coming to install as main fuse on 1/0, got a Stinger SHDA4 coming for Distro on power to amps..

Eclipse XA4000 is fused with 3- 30 amp fuses onboard 90 Amps total
Eclipse XA5000 is fused with 3- 25 amp fuses onboard 75 Amps total

I have to use MIDI fuses ( Mini ANL's)

its looks like I can get 30,40,50,60,70,80,100,125,150 amp fuses

The SHDA1 can combo 2 fuses for a 300 amp max, the SHDA4 does not combo fuses and has a 150 max per bank...

what fuse size do you recommend for the amps, a little bigger, or a little smaller, as I can't get 75 or 90 amp to match my onboard fuses

I figure 2- 80 amps for the main should be good...

On the dist. block Id use a 70 amp on the 5000 and an 80 amp on the 4000.

Two 100's on the main is way more than enough. Id throw something like a couple 80's on it. Two 70's should even work fine actually.

Never use a bigger fuse than what the equipment is rated for. Half the time the equipment has a little more fuse than it needs and you can run fusing under that. Usually a little safer that way.

Cool, thanks... I'll run 2- 80 on the main then, they come in a 5 pack from Konceptz and I need to order a 6m 2ch RCA anyway....

No prob. Heck, could even run a single 150

Two 80's will look cooler though
