Hey all,

I'm getting a new system installed at the end of the month. I got a IVA-W205 with all new speakers. The amp I am using for the speakers is a JL Audio 300x4V2. I'm looking into this to power my Stealth 10" Subwoofer. Is this a good amp and enough to give it decent power?

not familiar with that amp but if its JL power it should be good stuff.

check out the thread on the W205 in the MultiMedia section of the forum...good data in there and hope you like that unit. Its pretty slick

 

I think that amp will work great with the Stealthbox. It would probably be the one JL would recommend for it. JL amps are really good. A bit pricey but, really good clean amps. I am not sure what changes were made for the V2 amps over the originals but, I think you have a winning combo in those two amps and a Stealthbox.

 

Thanks for the replies so far! Make me feel a bit better as I've been a bit nervous dropping a ton of $$$ on this new system. I was told the amp that will drive the main speakers (JL 300x4V2) is really good, so that is why I am going with the JL amp as well for the subwoofer. Can't wait for the end of the month!
