I am a cheap a$$, and want to get a decent amp for a cheap price. Any of you guys ever used or using Profile amps I found them on Crutchfield.
For my 10" MTX sub

I have been looking into get that amp myself, but I am spending all my money elsewhere first.

 

Haha, yeah if they are cheap they will work fine.

A couple other brands to look into if you dont want to spend a whole lot are US Acoustics and HiFonics. I would look into them before Profile, personally.

 

I have a profile amp (that I bought from Crutchfield) on my everday work car and I have no complaints but for my truck I went with Alpine, dont ask me why b/c I dont know. I guess I just felt better having a name brand amp. If you decide to buy it from Crutchfield rememeber that they have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if your not happy with it send it back.

 

They put out the rated power but no more.
I had a 1000 w stereo Profile amp before and it ran just fine.
Qualitywise, if installed correctly, it should last longer than your truck.

 

I am now looking at the Hifonics amps as well, I actually like the power and confifdence that Hifonics has in their product. I have just been trying to find some consumer reports on them.
