Question amp shuts off for no reason! HELP!

Ok, get this...I had a system in my truck and it worked fine never any problems. Recently, I removed the subs and amp and left all of the wiring ( power, remote, ground, rca's) built a custom fiberglass box got a kicker solobaric and new kicker amp and when I went to hook everything back up it worked fine for about 10 seconds then it shut off! Im talking perfect hard hitting bass and the nthe amp turns completely off . It doesnt go into protect, it just shuts off. I checked the rcas, and power and they were fine...the only thing I can think of is maybe a bad remote? The ground is also fine...so I got new remote wire and Im going to try that....does anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks guys!

Could be the remote wire. All your fuses are good?

the solobarics come in 2 and 4 ohm DVCs right? check your wiring you may be presenting too much load to the amp...if its a 2 ohm stable amp and the sub is wired for 4 ohms that could cause it to shut off
