Couple of simple questions

I know you're not supposed to run RCA signal wires with power wire, but here's my question. Can you run speaker wires near power wires and can you run RCA's along speaker wires? Speaker wires are run off a 60w X 4c amp. I'll be running the 4 gauge power wire along the pax side floor plate and was wondering if I need a new route for the speaker wires on the pax side. RCA's are ran down driver side. Is it OK to run speaker wires along with RCA's?

I've never had any problems running speaker wire next to power wire either. Long as you keep power and rca's apart you'll be fine.

RCAs/Speaker leads and Power can all be run together - doesnt matter. Just alot of myths out there.

Although you can pick up EMI from your tranny tunnel if you have any ECUs near or around that area.

Im hoping that your laughing is sarcasm, as power wire does Not induce noise into your RCAs. Not fiction - fact. Tried and proven numerous times over.

Good call, I never though of that.

I think (hope) our trucks are pretty bare around that area though, as JMT said.

Its all good. I still do it on most installs due to learning the 'old school way' back in the 80s.

In the past I've had power induced problems. Course that was like 20 years ago so I pretty much stick with seperating wires when possible.
