rca cable length

Hello. I searched, and did not find answers so here goes.

I did not bring my truck to work today so i cannot go measure to approximate lengths for RCA cables.

I am going to mount an amp under/behind the rear seat in my 04 supercrew. Is a 12' RCA cable long enough to reach, or will I need the 17' to go from the radio to the amp?

Thanks

depending on how your route them, but i would probably run them under the carpet straight back. And i would try to find some 15' if possible

I used a 12 footer in a supercab. I went straight back under the carpet - perfect length for me , my amp is in the middle uder the rear seat..

I used 17' cables on my supercab and went down the under the door panels to the back wall.

I ran 19' to the rear wall of my 05 SCREW - down the center of the truck. Probably have 4-5' slack.
