small 4ch recommendations

I am looking to get a new 4ch amp, and trying to find some recommendations, it needs to be:

4 ch
At least 250RMS @ 4 ohms
Small(ish) dimensions (not sure on exact size, but not likely to be much more than 14" * 10", need to measure the space I have)
A max of $300 (preferably less)

So far I had been looking at the Alpine MRV-F545, although I can't find this new for less than about $350, and someone mentioned the MA HK598, although I have no knowledge of MA or their products.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I am a little confused on your needs. 250 @ 4 ohms. Is that per channel or total power or a typo?

Sorry, I should have put 250 @ 4ohms bridged............ I plan to use the front channels to run my front speakers, and bridge the rear's for a sub (It's what I am doing at the moment, but the sub is not getting much power).

I got a Lightning audio 300 X 4 Rms @ 4ohms for around $50 off ebay.

That makes sense. A great way to run a good system. There are tons of amps out there that will probably fit that bill. My personal choices would be maybe Memphis Audio, Audison SRx line, maybe even Arc Audio Kar series. All should have a 4 channel amp that will do it.

Ok I have been searching around and not having much luck finding an amplifier that fits my needs............ I measured the space I have and its 13" x 10" and so far the only amp I can find that matches this (and has the right sort of power) is the Alpine MRV-345............. the problem is the 2 online places I have found that sell this appear to have a rep of listing things as in stock when they are not.

Has anyone ordered from either onlinecarstereo.com or techronics.com? I have used techronics in the past and had no problems, but am worried as I don't think that the Alpine amp is a current model.

Any other suggestions that fit the dimensions and power I need?
