amp mount?

for those of u guys who mounted your amps on the back wall behind the seat, what type of screw did u use to screw it into the wall? I screwed it in and now it sounds like it scraps against the outside and makes a squelling noise everytime I hit a bump. I have a 2005 f150 fx4.

Self tapping.

Even though I have screwed mine right to the back wall, screws running to the exterior before, I suggest not doing that if you have. If you did, make sure to try and cover the back side with some silicone or something to keep water/etc out. The best thing is to either put the screws in where it is double walled, and the screws wont exit to the outside of the truck, or else mount a piece of wood back there, then mount the amps to that.

The squeeking might just be the metal from the amp rubbing on the sheetmetal. Id try putting some kind of cushion bewteen them (chunk of cardboard, felt, something) to get away from the metal/metal contact.
