Zapco Reference any good?

I was looking at the zapco reference amps and the AG series. Are the comp models that much better?

Thanks,

Mark

I love Zapco. I usually recommend them before any other amp.

The refs are great amps. If you are looking at used ones...make sure the serial number (sticker) is intact. Zapco won't work on them if not. Also, look for the glossy black with gold badge refs. They can play lower (ohms). But, any ref, AG or comp Zapcos are fantastic.

If you go with Zapco, spend the extra for the symbilink cables (if your amp doesn't come with them). It's a balanced line...less noise and don't have to worry about your pre-out's voltage.
