Capacitor question

Hi.
I just ordered a 10" Comp VR 4 ohm DVC, and a 300.1 amp. (single setup) I just installed a new alternator and battery, and Im wondering if buying a lower-priced cap would be a good idea to help keep my charging system from wearing out so quickly? Also, is there any tips on installing a cap? Thanks all

I don't care to go into it, but no, caps are utterly worthless. Just leave it at that

I agree with Lumadar, for the amount of power you are running, you really do not need one.

I can gurantee that you will be wasting your money, on something you don't need, and will probably never need to use
