will this amp fit?

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if an Infinity REF5761a will fit behind the rear seat of my 06 supercab. The sub measures 21"wide by 12 1/4" deep by 2 11/16 high. If it does, will heat be an issue? Thanks much.

If your rear wall is the same as mine in my 05 SuperCrew, then it depends if you have the power rear window. The motor for it would could be in the way. I have 3 amps back there and my longest one is around 19" counting the screw terminals. I have the motor in the way. If you do not, you should be fine. I have had no heat issues with my setup at all.

I do have the power window-So are you saying that 19" is the max length I could go? I need to do a search regarding seat removal-is it tough?

You would probably have to pull the seat and make sure one way or the other. I hate to tell you yes or no without having an amp that big to compare to. It might fit but, might not.

The seat back is not difficult, just a pain at first. Once you do it a few times it gets better. There are clips that get release and getting to them can be tricky. There are several threads on "how to".

Thanks. I was hoping to order it before I took the seat out. Better safe than sorry.
