Amp Install Pix New Body Scab Pleeseeeee

I have seen some pix here in the past of amps installed behind the rear seat. But not certain if it was a Scab or Screw. I have a Scab and need a pix of same for my install next week, so I can show installer what I want. Can anyone help out a bro?

What do you mean "looks like crap" theres nothing wrong with that install..
I maybe was a little neater with the wires...you mounted to a board, which is the the best way to mount them..
my caps would not clear the seat on a board, so, no board... its alway better to not have the amp chasis grounded... it can cause noise... but so far i'm good in the hum department....

All good lookin pix, thanks bro's. F150 Truck'in, thats the pix I remember but wasen't for shure it was a Scab, thanks. shtrdave, if it works don't worry about it. As hard as it is to get back there it's not like you will be poppin it open to often. All that counts is how it sounds and both systems look like they will pump out the tunes. Wish me luck on my install.

no problem, GordoPanocho has a webpage with a pdf and some more seat removable info..
just make sure when pressing the clips with a screwdriver you are pressing down on the top of the back seat at the same time...or it will not release...

also in shtrdave gallery is some great pics and info..

No overheating here either, there is more room back there than was in my 99Excab. I pulled the seat belt whatever out that sticks up above the seat on the driver's side, so that will leave the heat flow up through if it needs to go somewhere.

I am glad I came across this post. I went looking at stereos today. I would like amp it and a MTX sub. (powered). I would like to put the amp behind the seat. But I also have a strobe power supply and the box (brain, for lack of better words) for my siren. It is pretty big. But If I mount it like the amps above I might be able to pull it off? The box is 3 1/2 inchs tall, will it fit back there? And how hard and how long does it take to get the seat off?
