Impossible to get the backseat out of my 05 Supercrew

I read all the forums about how to pop the screwdriver into one magic hole and then squeeze some lever and all this. I found the clips, but they would not move. I wanted mount my amp behind the rear seat, but we honestly tried for about four hours. I went to the ford dealership and the guy there couldn't do it either. It is by far the most ridiculous piece of any vehicle I have ever owned. So does anyone have EXACT pictures on how to remove the rear seat (i unbolted EVERY single bolt from all the seats except the huge bolts that hold down the main structure. Those are even impossible to get to)? I have a King Ranch specifically. Im not sure if those are an extra pain in the ***, but it sure felt like it. Not to mention when I did get everything hooked up, one of the JL 10w3v2's i bought on ebay either doesn't work at all or we didn't have it wired right somehow. My buddy that did it has done four systems for me, and they have been perfect everytime. We rewired it a few times, but still got nothing. So I'm going to contact the seller and see what he says, but my guess is that he will say they worked fine when I got them. It was like 105 degrees today and I started to take pictures, but I was simply too frustrated. I will however get the pics when I get everything working right. Thanks for your help!

If you have a second person to help you, have him/her push down on the seat back while you push the clip in w/ the screw driver. When you are wedging your hand/screwdriver between the seats it can cause you to push up on the seat back and put pressure on the clip not allowing it to release.
Also, if your hands/forearms are small enough, try reaching around the seat back and guiding the screwdriver where you want it.

Once you get one side off...put a towel or something between the seat and clip so when you are working on the other side the side you just got off doesn't clip back in place.

My first time it took me like an hour to get one side off. It is a PITA. Just be patient and don't lose your cool...it will come off.

No, keep the seat down. Look at this pic...it's a back view (obviously the seat isn't in the truck).

Yes, push back on the clip, be sure the clip is clear and then pull up on the seat back. Remember, push down on the seat back so the clip can clear first.

I think it's the left clip. I'm not positive about the '06, but the '04 and '05 only have 2 clips. This gallery has directions above each picture.
