I have a California Profile amp that is giving me a hard time. This amp only runs a Pioneer competition series 800 watt 10 '' sub. The amp always works but it didnt seem to be performing like it used to. The other day I'm just riding along and the amp and sub were working , then it started playing like it used to. It used to shake all 3 mirrors into a blurr, but now it comes and goes. I checked the grounds (double grounded 4'' and 2''), power wire is secured on the amp, constant power is secure. I really dont know why it goes in and out like that. any one have any ideas? sounds internal but before i buy another i want to explore all options. thanks guys

 

what kind of voltage are you getting at the amp? testr it when its on and off.
