need amp

i am buying two 10" L5 solar barics from a friend. he just got them and now he wants to sell them for 250 with the box. i need to know what amp is a good choice to push them. i am on kind of on a budget, so i need something around 250-300 dollars.

i am thinking of using this amp.

According to those specs on the subs...they can handle 450 watts each. If you are getting 2 of them (2ohm DVC)...I would wire them to a 2ohm final impedance and get an amp that can handle about 1000-1200 watts @ 2ohms. I say this because I like a little bit of head room w/ my amps. If you set the amp properly you will have no problems.

I think Kicker has a 1200x1 amp...IIRC a KX or SX. Sorry, I'm not to familiar w/ Kicker. I'm not sure if you can get one for $250-$300, maybe used on Ebay...not sure. The Kicker KX and SX are decent amps from what I hear.

You need something with more power than that Kenwood amp. It only puts out 500W RMS into 4 ohm.

get a 2 channel amp like the audiobahn a8002v, it gives you 400w x 2@2ohms rms or 800w x1@ 4ohms. They cost anywhere from $120 to $170 on ebay and audiobahn makes some good audio equipment. go to this website and check out option # 1 and do it to both channelsn http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/le...pedance=DVC4x2
