Pyle Amps ?
Pyle Amps ?
I have a Pioneer 6800MP head unit and 4 Infinity Kappas in my 05 Supercab. My question is. Is this a good amp for my system? I got it for $80.00 new and have not installed it yet. Any info would be a help.

I would think that the time to ask questions would have been before you bought the amp. What you have is a very low end piece of equipment. But, there obviously is a market for this kind of stuff because it's everywhere. If you are happy with it, that's all that matters. We all have our own way of looking at things. Having high quality audio equipment just isn't that big of a deal to everyone. A piece of advice, use that amp in the gentlest, kindest way possible and it may last for a long time. There are many reasons an amp costs $80. Remember that some things are NOT a bargain at any price. Sorry to be so blunt, just like to tell it like it is.

i'll gladly make the argument for pyramid. I have a PB449x runnin 2 12" lanzar max 12"s in my 2002 super cab and it hits hard and deep. never had any problems with the amp over heating or nothing. and these have been setup for almost 2 years now.

there is the big issue right there. i should have mentioned it previously, but it all comes to what you can afford. if you've got deep pockets, then yes, go with the rockfords, or alpines. if not, find what you can afford that does what you want.
i know of a site www.etronics.com and they have great prices and havent found anybody that even comes close, and their products are all brand new. as far as competition, a dB meter knows no difference in hardware, just the volume level it gets to.
