Be sure to match the amp to the sub impeadence and vise versa. I typically suggest buying a 2channel full range amp if you don't have a game plan for the complete final system. Doing so will give you more open opportunities for upgrades. If you buy a small mono sub only(like classd stuff) the only way to upgrade it is to buy a second one which won't work with you current sub impeadence, or replace it, which makes that amp now a useless paperweight. If you get a 2 channel amp for your subs now, you can move it up to your fronts if you want a larger sub amp. If you later want to add more power to the front you can move it back to your rears or better yet bridge it to one side of your fronts and get a second for the other side. You get the point, and in any case the amp is never wasted along with the money you spent on it.

What brand of subs are you getting? If your getting a good set of 10's i recommend JL 500/1 mono block. you will be very satisfied. My buddy as a ford ranger with two 10' kickers and running a JL 500/1 amp sounds really awesome.

First thing is first...you need to tell us what subs you want and their specs. Then we can help you match them with an amp.

With 2 10's, depending on the specs, you won't need anything too fancy. I prefer rockford fosgate amps.
