looking for amp, suggestions?

I finally completed my project, finished my 1.0 cu ft sealed box with my one
12" ARC audio KAR series 12. Sounds fabulous. I like it much better than my old ported superbass box. I can't believe what that 12 does in a 1 cu ft box.

Anyways, I've got it bridged on the 3rd and 4th channel of my RF 501x and it sounds good, I just don't think its getting the power it needs. "Supposedly" 250watts according to the specs. Only 4 ohm mono stable, 2 ohm stereo stable.

I'd like to take the 3rd and 4th channels of my current amp and hook it to my rear Clarion 6x8 (which are currently running off my HU) and purchase me a new mono amp for the ARC 12".

Anybody selling? Suggestions?
I've read on Hifonics, Zapco, ARC, Kicker, Memphis, etc. There are so many out there, who knows. I may eventually switch to a dual vc 10 or 12 in the future, so I at least want one stable at 2 ohms.

Budget of about $250.

Appreciated.

Memphis

I went with Memphis. Good gear at a good price. I'm not prepared to say it's head over heels better than any of the others, because I don't know, but I checked into what to buy for over a month. I was overwhelmed by the number of choices. I heard Memphis highly rated. I tried it. I liked it. Money well spent.

Can't beat the Minilith by Zed Audio(Steve Mantz) for the price $229. 600x1 into 1 ohm, 400x1 into 2 ohms, and 200x1 into 4 ohms. This is the guy who built Hifonics, Autotek, Boss, Crunch, Cadence, Nakamichi, ESX, Lanzar, and others when they were ultra high end. Doesn't build for anyone now but himself. He still makes these in the USA. The looks aren't for everyone, but the quality is top notch.

That Elemental Designs Nine.2x sure is looking tempting right about now.

I've been reading some great feedback on it.

I think I'm going look at some ARC amps tomorrow here in town locally.

Any feedback from you guys on Arc or ED amps?
