04 + which side to run main power?

Was curious which side you decided to run your main power cable down, the DS (Drivers Side) or PS (Passenger side).

Since the battery is on the Passenger side, was just curious as to what side you ran your cable and thoughts on the Pro's and Con's of each.

Thanks in advance....

Passenger's side. Plus, there should be a hole already in the firewall behind the battery (under the big wire harness).

I see it, it is oval shaped? Where does it end up coming out at, cause it looks like the heatcore assymbly would be in the way getting 0/1 gauge through there. Any ideas, comments?

I have found a way to get it into the cab, but it temporarly goes outside the vehicle ( down the wheel well and up through a gromet (sp?) in the floor next to the kick panel on the PS side.

Let me know, thanks.

Nevermind, I ran it through the wheel well, it ends up that the cable is protected by the body for the 3 inches it is outside the cab. And the gromet fits like it was made for 0/1 gauge.

Thanks for the idea.

Yeah, I ran through the firewall. It's the shortest route in terms of wirelength. The blower housing is in the way, so you'll need to shove the wire down and toward the driver side and loop back around and down the passenger side.

I thought about running it down and under the chassis, but decided not since the wire is exposed to the elements and you need to make a sharp bend as you get back inside the cabin.

The existing hole I used came out right under the blower housing. It was the easiet power cable I ever ran. Just had to file the hole a small bit to accomodate the 1/0 cable.
