I think the JL Audio 500/5 would be a great match for you (unless you want to run seperate amps).

Alpine has good amps too. Just depends on your budget and what sounds good to you. JL Audio & Alpine are both mainstream products. So, I'm sure you can go and hear those speakers with either of those amps.

Well I think I made up my mind, its betweem the v power Alpine amps or most likely the Alpine V-12's a buddy of mine has the V-12's in his Hemi and prases them as for JL, I'd like them but I dont want to deal with the guy around here that sells them hes a bit of a jerk off in my opinion so guess its Alpine for me.

SKRWZ, Ain't that the truth about buying car audio stuff from a shop. I moved into a small metro town and there are only two shops here. They are both, in my opinion a bit podunk, and both shop's knock the products that they don't sell. To boot, one guy at one of the shop is a real corn-holer. So I guess that you aren't the only one that it has happened to.

That is not a nice thought. I or we need to find a reputable electrical engineer or someone with a similar background to do warranty work. I didn't buy anything from those guys, I just had them install stuff that I had and knew their history. They could even figure out how to take my rear seatback apart. And to boot, they forgot to make the proper connections for one of my coaxils and incorrectly hooked up my alpine/ipod interface. Lastly, they didn't even bother to tune my stuff and fine tune the gains on my amps. A real class act. I guess that I'll be putting in my xm interface by myself and doing my girlfriends vehicle as well. Somtimes you just can't find good help.

I just hate taking the dash and the doors apart. Everything else is pretty straight forward, well, except for alarms.
