Ground Cable

Howdy! I'm putting my new stereo equipment in my truck this week, and have a few quesitons about the ground cable coming from my amp:

1) Should I ground it to a seat bolt?
2) What type of device should I use on the end of the ground cable to attacht it to the grounding point? I think something like a washer with a crimp stem on it would work.

Its easy, put a ring terminal on the wire any kind you like.Find a bolt or you can install a new screw in any metal part near the amp.Just make sure if you run in a new screw that you remove the paint it needs bare metal to make a good ground. And keep the ground cable as short as you can and of the same size as your power wire.

Crimp ring, Seat bolt would be fine as long as you scrap off any paint.. Pretty much everything the guy above me said.

A solid GROUND is a must, and make sure the ground is to bare metal. If you have more than one ground, make sure you tie them together to minimize noise.
