This is dumb.

M.A. Audio = Good
http://www.maaudio.com/

Mobile Authority = Not so much
http://www.mobileauthority.com/

They are the same company... However, they are very different product lines. Personally? I'd be a little worried about companies that try to push their product by spelling Hardcore with a "K". It's screams "Look how cool were are! No, really... look! Why aren't you looking?"

In all reality, if you can get a good deal on the MA Audio stuff and you just want to be loud, it will probably work out more than fine. The specs look good on paper, but I haven't heard anything from that line.

Have a nice day.

*-Now that's funny, Like Ma is some kind of flee market stuff Huh? Well I use it. No I compete with MA's stuff and I'll tell ya non believers that there competition stuff will take more than you can give them. I run 2 15" subs and 2 4000 watt amps and when you can crack loose a windshield with them you can't say it's just cheap Crap. So to the guy that was thinking about going with them I say go ahead you'll love them.Thanks.

Has anyone here ever watched Pimp my Ride. They almost always use MA Audio for subs and amps. There electronics guy swears by it. They like to use Clairon for recievers and screens.

Yeah, Ive never seen them use any other reciever, but Clarion makes some nice ones.

MA Audio and MTX seems to be all they use for subs. Personally, I hate it.

Actually on Pimp My Ride they did use some Eclipse subs on the blazer and two H2s in the Bel Air, so they do come across some nicer stuff and propablly dont even know it.

Looks good doesn't mean preforms good......Do some research, beware of the 1000 watt subs that weigh 2 lbs a piece! Big watts = big magnets.

WCC will more than likely start using some amps and speakers by Orion, a division of Directed Electronics, as they are getting their own line made by them.
Check the website...http://www.westcoastcustoms.com/Products/index.htm

Not always true about the magnets. You cant judge a sub by the size of its magnet and how big its surround looks

Never seen the WCC guys us the Eclipse before. More than likely the best thing they have ever used.

I would really like to see that cracked windshield too, and proof that it was all from the subs. I hear people saying they cracked their windshield alot, well guarenteed it aleady had a defect (chip, small invisible crack etc) that the sub just finished off. It takes alot of pressure to crack a window.

Here try this

www.team-gh.de

Mine came loose at the seal then split at the mirror mount top to bottom so You can do it with about 150 DB A 170 is insane Hell a 160 is bad a$$. But I do like the guy's that say they can when they don't even know what it takes. A little trunk system in there beat-up old car just won't do it.

True, voice coils, and type of surrounding around the woofer also come into play, but look at all of the top quality subs out there, they are heavy, well built units with top of the line materials. When you see a 1000 + watt sub that barely weighs what a 6 1/2" 2way does, BEWARE! That's all.
